Great game! Great concept!
Of course you had to simplify a lot but I think you got the balance right! Being a biologist myself, I really like this projects bringing science to people. I guess it will be interesting not only to students, but although to adults, whose biology lessons are long time ago!
Could easily imagine a game focussing on mammalian immune system with a similar approach. Would be interesting, too.
I just completed the game and was compelled to tell you how much I enjoyed it. Learning is fun!
If you make a sequel it should feature Echidnas, those other extra-terrestrial monotremes.
Just played it on newgrounds and posted a message there, but i’ll be posting it here just to make sure it’ll be read^^
here it goes:
This game is just wonderful, everything is just awesome!
The concept, the gameplay, the artwork, the music, anda truly educational and entertaining game.
Very interesting too!
I volunteer myself to translate it to portuguese.
My girlfriend studies pedagogy and she would absolutely love the game!
If i could translate the game to portuguese i would make sure to send it to some schools i have contact and my girlfriend, who actually works at 2 schools, would use it too.
PS: me and my girl we were talking that there aren’t plenty of good educational games around, just some really crappy ones… almost games made for dummies…
Hi, I just finished the game. Thank you so much for making it! I have literally never sent fan mail for a game before but I’m very happy someone’s made an educational biology game. I was even thinking of creating one myself, though Flash is not my language. I was going to have the user in control of a human’s organs, and have them react to various events – have the pancreas produce insulin to avoid a diabetic shock, have the immune system react to a virus, etc. Maybe that could make a good sequel? The idea’s yours if you want it.
